Meadows Farms details

Meadows Farm Championship Golf Course, now one of the best golf courses in Virginia, was the dream of Bill “Farmer” Meadows – who passed away in March of 2017 – and was the former owner of Meadows Farms Nurseries. Bill began playing golf in 1990, and as he played more golf, he began to visualize a new kind of golf course. His pure-bred Santa Gertrudis Cattle farm, located here in Locust Grove, Virginia was the ideal site for a golf course with its beautiful rolling countryside. The course is situated approximately 70 miles from Washington DC and Richmond, 50 miles from Charlottesville, and 20 miles from Fredericksburg and Culpeper. Our philosophy of providing players with a “no-frills” course, at an affordable price, is sure to provide a unique and fun golf experience.
