Somerset Farms details

Somerset Farms retains much of its history, as the semi-private/public golf course winds through gently rolling woodlands and wetlands, while offering unspoiled views of the Virginia countryside. Somerset Farms’ 6,500-plus-yard course offers 18 Signature holes with traditional and links style play. A slope rating of 138 makes the layout one of the most challenging in Virginia, yet four sets of tees provide “play-ability” and challenge for golfers of every level. The course was designed by Tulsa-based architect Jerry Slack, who masterfully incorporated the heritage of Somerset Farm’s natural terrain into the design, while preserving the natural areas and wetlands of the property. The character and traditions of yesterday live on at Somerset Farms Golf Course.
