The resort's own hole guide warns that the 9th at Woodstone Meadows can get inside your head. It's a par 3 to a three-tiered green, so your tee shot has to find the right shelf, and if you miss the green, getting up and down is tough.
Woodstone Meadows sits at the foot of the mountain, one of two 18-hole courses at Massanutten Resort, with its driving range right by the golf shop. It's an executive layout, a par 65 with nine par 3s, and the fairways are open.
On the short 12th, two big bunkers and a rock creek sit in front of the green. The round ends on a long, uphill par 5 that takes three good shots to reach in regulation.
