There's no sign of homes or commercial development anywhere around Stumpy Lake's 18 holes. The course runs through a nature preserve of 1,400 acres, where ospreys, eagles, deer and fox are a common sight. Every so often, a bear shows up too.
Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed it. The public par 72 sits on mostly flat ground, with views of a 278-acre lake. There's a fishing pier out on the lake's east end.
If you live nearby, the pros in the golf shop can help you set up a handicap or find a group that plays regularly. There's a chipping and putting area right beside the first tee. Honey Bee, the sister club, is close enough that you can play 36 holes in one day.
Find the deals near you, plus GPS and a scorecard at 40,000+ courses.
Same pass, more courses close by.
