Brooklea Golf & Country Club is the perfect mix of resort polish and local comfort. Just outside Midland, it offers a 27-hole facility: a full 18-hole championship course and a shorter nine that’s ideal for practice, family golf, or a casual warm-up.
The main course plays through open fairways bordered by trees and ponds, with rolling elevation changes that make for visually appealing and varied holes. You’ll find generous landing areas but demanding approaches – especially to greens protected by well-placed bunkers.
Brooklea’s signature is variety. The par 3s range from short and sharp to long and testing, and the par 5s offer real decision-making. Wind can be a factor here, so shot trajectory and distance control pay off big. The 14, 15 and 16th hole are what the local's call the "Guantlet" with a 3 long holes in a row that will either make or break your round. With a well-placed pond, narrow fairway and mature trees down each side it provides a great challenge for any golfer.
