The ground here is uneven, some hazards stay hidden until you find them, and the green is often out of sight from where you're standing. Low handicappers don't get an easy day here either.
The course dates back to 1932, which makes it one of the oldest in the area. It's tucked into the pines in the Haliburton Highlands, in cottage country. The licensed clubhouse has a patio with a view, and the kitchen keeps it simple with sandwiches, snacks and a few hot choices.
Look up when you reach the 8th tee. That's where Lake Kashagawigamog comes into view, so bring a camera.
