Pine Crest has been a Dixon family course since 1925. Wes Dixon handed it to Bob and Janet Dixon in 1983, and they still run it. The holes you'll play are the ones Wes laid out in the late 1960s, and the land around them has grown from 60 acres to just under 200. The renovated clubhouse has a full restaurant and an upstairs lounge that looks down on the 18th hole.
Soft spikes only here. It's part of how the family keeps the greens and fairways in shape. The range hits off grass tees, and there are two practice greens for rolling a few first. Leagues go out on Monday nights and Tuesdays.
